OURIKA
My latest crush… Ourika rugs: the most beautiful, traditional wool Berber rugs with a colorful modern twist. We bought soooo many :)
The base is always white / natural, with a contrasting chequered and zigzag pattern that is unique every time. They are true works of art...
We bought both the small sizes (which are super cute for the baby room, for example) and larger sizes that give your living room a lovely, warm glow.

DIRECT IMPORT
During my purchasing trips to Morocco, I always look for beautiful, unique pieces that can fit nicely into our concept.
I bid along with the local merchants on the criée berbère of the carpet souks in the heart of Marrakech, which means that most of the intermediate channels are skipped!

MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Regular cleaning is advised with vacuuming / whipping and using traditional methods with water and brown soap. Let it dry patiently in the sunshine.
