Meet our metallic tassel — handmade for us in Marrakech by Kassimi, our long-time passementerie maker.

Made entirely from fine silky threads in either gold or silver, every tassel is gathered, wrapped and finished by hand. The extra-long braided cord gives it an elegant, almost oversized look — simple in shape, but definitely not shy.

We originally loved these as an unexpected SOUK take on Christmas decoration. Hung from a tree, they catch the light beautifully and add something handmade between all the traditional ornaments.

But honestly? December is only the beginning.

Hang one from a cupboard or door handle, add it to a basket or bag, use it as a keyhanger or simply let it bring a little metallic detail into your interior. Gold if you like things warm. Silver if you like them cooler. Or — very much the SOUK approach — mix both.

Each one is handmade in Marrakech, so small differences in length and finish are part of its character.
