Say hello to Jdidita — the little sister of our iconic Jdidi range. This charming mini Boujad kilim captures the same playful spirit, colourful motifs and artisan soul, but in a cute small format that I found irresistible.

Handwoven in soft natural wool, Jdidita features a warm creamy backdrop embroidered with bright Berber symbols: zigzags, talismanic crosses, tiny diamonds and joyful abstract shapes in shades of coral, emerald, fuchsia, navy, saffron, turquoise and black. Each motif is woven by hand, story by story, just as women in the Boujad region have done for generations.

The result is a miniature textile artwork — expressive, lighthearted and deeply authentic.

How to style it:

• as a statement mini rug in a hallway, bathroom, nursery or reading corner
• layered over a larger neutral rug
• draped on a bench, chair or sofa for colour and texture
• hung as a wall tapestry (it’s perfect for it!)
