KASBAH HEAT Boujad Rug | 150 x 100 cm
Boujad Rug — One of a Kind
A powerful yet warm Boujad rug, handwoven in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco and selected at the criée for its expressive composition and rich, sun-softened palette.
This piece combines bold graphic blocks with organic transitions, characteristic of Boujad weaving. Shades of deep red, coral pink, softened black, creamy wool and touches of mustard and blush flow into each other, creating a rhythm that feels both spontaneous and balanced. The result is a rug that instantly anchors a space, while remaining layered, textured and alive.
As with all authentic Boujad rugs, this piece was woven entirely from intuition — without a predefined pattern. The weaver translates emotion, daily life and symbols into wool, knot by knot. Subtle irregularities in shape, line and density are part of its charm and a true signature of its handmade origin.
This rug works beautifully in eclectic, bohemian or contemporary interiors, and brings warmth and character to minimalist spaces in need of soul.
