Its composition is a layered tapestry of deep terracotta fields, cream expanses, graphic borders, totem-like motifs, abstract forms, and an explosion of painterly color blocks along the bottom edge — reminiscent of market textiles, desert villages, and hand-painted murals.

A vivid palette of saffron, pumpkin, emerald, teal, jade, coral, orchid, mauve, charcoal and soft cream blends into a rug that feels alive, rhythmic, and utterly unique. Five central diamond talismans anchor the design, while arrows, arches and linear symbols create a sense of direction and storytelling.

Woven from re-used vintage wool but newly knotted, the rug carries both the softness of aged fibres and the strength of contemporary craftsmanship. Sun-washed nuances, subtle irregularities, and the tactile Boujad pile add even more depth to this already spectacular artwork.
