Her signature style is unmistakable: bold blocks of colour, beautifully balanced geometry and an incredibly dense, textured pile made from meticulously knotted upcycled textiles.

This version unfolds in a palette of deep teal, olive green, blush pink, berry tones and cobalt blue — a modern mosaic that feels both playful and soothing. The graphic diamond pattern creates a spacious, architectural feel, perfect for anyone who loves colour without chaos.

The hand-knotted surface has that lush, curly texture typical of high-quality boucherouite work, contrasted with a tightly woven striped cotton base and braided tassels in mixed tones.

STORY

I discovered this rug during one of my rounds at the criée berbère, the daily auction in the heart of Marrakech.
I recognised the maker’s hand immediately — her way of arranging colours is so distinctive that her work almost calls out from a distance. I bid on the spot, surrounded by local merchants, dust, laughter and that typical criée energy where intuition guides the buying process more than anything else.

This ZWIN is a little gem from that day — full of spirit, authenticity and the creative freedom that boucherouite weaving is known for.
