A little wild. A lot of texture. Already a whole life in its threads.

RAG ’N’ ROLL started with an authentic Moroccan boucherouite rug: a wonderfully shaggy mix of long fabric strips, including recycled T-shirt material, worked into a colourful textile.

Joëlle selected the rug and reimagined it as a small series of poufs for SOUK in the CITY. The original shaggy surface becomes the seat, paired with striped kilim side panels and a keria fabric base.

Textile scraps became a rug. That rug became something new again.

The long, loose fringes bring movement and a wonderfully unruly texture. Stripes around the sides add another layer of colour and character. Each pouf has its own combination, depending on the section of textile used.

Place it beside the sofa, pull it closer for relaxed seating, or put your feet up and give those fringes a little ruffle.

ONE OF A KIND

Colour placement, stripes, texture and small irregularities vary from piece to piece. Existing signs of use belong to the original textiles and are part of their story.

Approx. 50 × 50 × 20 cm.

Sold as a cover only, without filling. Filled images show how the pouf can look when stuffed.

Give old textiles another purpose: use clean, dry fabric scraps, towels or clothing to fill your pouf. Pack evenly and generously into the corners for a plump, rounded shape.

CARE

Shake gently to lift the fringes and remove loose dust. If vacuuming, use low suction without a rotating brush and avoid catching the fabric strips. Treat small marks carefully with a slightly damp cloth, testing a hidden area first. For deeper cleaning, consult a textile specialist.
