Meet DOURIA 03 — a riot of colour, movement and wonderfully free pattern.

I found this one at the criée berbère in Marrakech and honestly, it was impossible to ignore.

Hot pink, turquoise, green and warm ochre move across a creamy base in sweeping lines, sharp angles and unexpected abstract shapes. There’s black here and there to ground all that colour, while small irregular details keep appearing between the larger patterns.

What I love most is the movement. Nothing stays neatly inside a grid. Lines bend, colours collide and the composition seems to change completely from one end of the rug to the other. It feels spontaneous, expressive and wonderfully alive.

Hand-knotted in wool, DOURIA 03 has a tactile pile that gives even more depth to its already incredibly graphic design.

At 270 × 148 cm, its long proportions make it a brilliant statement piece for a living room, alongside a sofa, at the foot of a large bed or in an open-plan space.

Definitely not the quiet one in the room. And that’s precisely the point.

CARE

Regularly shake out or gently vacuum using low suction and without a rotating brush.
Rotate occasionally for even wear and air outside from time to time to keep the wool fresh.
For deeper cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing or soaking.
