Meet DISCO SOUK — a dark backdrop, bright colour and plenty of personality.

I found this one in Marrakech and immediately loved how the pink and orange jump out against that deep charcoal background.

Elongated diamonds fill the lower section, with little stripes, bars and geometric details woven between them. Higher up, the design changes into larger angular blocks, giving the whole piece an unexpected twist.

What I love most is the rhythm. Shapes repeat, but each has its own little differences. A flash of pink here, a patch of orange there, with cream details bringing light into the darker areas.

It has a wonderfully graphic presence. Bold enough to draw your eye, with plenty of smaller details to discover when you get closer.

Bring it into a room with warm wood, a favourite sofa and a few objects you love — it will happily do the rest.

Definitely a rug with a playful side.

CARE

Gently vacuum using low suction and without a rotating brush.
Rotate occasionally for even wear and air in a dry, shaded spot from time to time.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to help preserve the colours.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth, without rubbing.
For deeper cleaning, professional wool rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing or soaking.
