Meet MO — a wonderfully colourful Boucherouite runner with stripes that refuse to behave.

I found this one through Simo at the women’s market in Morocco in May 2024. Its long, narrow shape immediately stood out, but it was the wonderfully free mix of pink, green, blue, red, lilac and cream that made me bring it home.

Handmade from repurposed textiles, MO has that spontaneous, almost improvised character we love about Boucherouite rugs. The colours move across the rug in irregular bands rather than following a perfectly repeated pattern — playful, imperfect and completely one of a kind.

At 260 × 70 cm, MO is made for those long, narrow spaces that are often difficult to dress: a hallway, alongside a bed, in a dressing room or even in a kitchen.

CARE

Regularly shake out or gently vacuum your Boucherouite rug using low suction and without a rotating brush.

Because of MO’s length and weight when wet, we don’t recommend washing this piece in a domestic washing machine. For a deeper clean, professional rug cleaning is the safest option.
