MULAWAN — the original that started it all.

MULAWAN is one of our original SOUK in the CITY designs — and the piece that first brought two of our Marrakech artisans together.

We had been working with Kassimi on our colourful tassels, while Mohammed, our felt artisan in the souks, was hand-rolling his beautiful little felt balls.

We loved both crafts. So we brought them together.

The result was MULAWAN: a generous multicoloured tassel topped with three hand-rolled felt balls, each individually embroidered with colourful thread.

That first design started a collaboration between Kassimi and Mohammed that continues today — and later inspired MULAWAN’s smaller sister, SRIRA.

Use it as a keyhanger or add it to a bag, basket, cupboard or door handle. A colourful little statement, made by hand in Marrakech and unmistakably SOUK.
