Meet RAYA, a cheerful collection of Moroccan cushions made from upcycled Boucherouite textiles.

Hundreds of tiny strips of recycled fabric create an irregular mix of stripes in pink, green, red, black, cream and little touches of orange and blue.

Some stripes are bold, others barely a few threads wide. That's exactly what makes these cushions so interesting. Look a little closer and you'll discover all sorts of colours and textures woven into the fabric.

We came across this lovely series at Simo's during our October 2026 sourcing trip in Marrakech. Made by our trusted craftsman Ayoub, these cushions give traditional Boucherouite textiles a fresh place in contemporary interiors.

Perfect for mixing with other cushions, adding colour to a neutral sofa or simply bringing a little Moroccan playfulness into your home.
