Hand-knotted in Morocco from wool, NOMAD combines a soft off-white ground with an irregular composition of deep red, dusty rose, terracotta, black, charcoal and warm ochre.

What makes this piece so special is the way the motifs seem to move across the rug. Geometric shapes, diamonds, lines and abstract symbols appear almost like fragments of a visual language — some bold and graphic, others softer and more subtle.

The composition is intentionally asymmetrical, which gives the rug its wonderfully spontaneous character. Nothing feels overly planned or repeated, and that is exactly what makes Boujad rugs so expressive.
