Meet DOURIA 04 — bold, graphic and impossible to overlook.

I found this one at the criée berbère in Marrakech, and it was the incredible movement in the pattern that immediately caught my eye.

Turquoise, green, hot pink, cobalt blue and warm ochre sweep across a creamy base in bold diagonals, zigzags and wonderfully irregular abstract shapes. Darker lines cut through the brighter colours, giving the whole composition depth and just enough contrast.

There’s something almost painterly about this one. Follow one line and it suddenly changes direction. Shapes overlap, colours reappear somewhere completely unexpected and the pattern keeps evolving from one end of the rug to the other.

Hand-knotted in wool, DOURIA 04 has a beautifully tactile pile that softens all that graphic energy and gives the colours even more depth in real life.

At 260 × 146 cm, its long proportions make it a brilliant statement rug for a living room, alongside a sofa, in a bedroom or anywhere that can handle a serious dose of colour.

CARE

Regularly shake out or gently vacuum using low suction and without a rotating brush.
Rotate occasionally for even wear and air outside from time to time to keep the wool fresh.
For deeper cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing or soaking.
