SHABBY is back!

These colourful Moroccan Boucherouite rugs are made from long strips of repurposed textiles, knotted together to create a wonderfully chunky, almost chaotic surface.

And that's exactly what we love about them.

Forget neat little patterns or perfectly matching colours. SHABBY is all about texture, movement and a rather unpredictable mix of fabrics. From bright pink and turquoise to orange, purple, green and everything in between.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF BOUCHEROUITE

Unlike the more traditional, closely knotted Boucherouite rugs, SHABBY has a much longer, looser pile.

The strips of recycled fabric create a playful, almost ruffled surface, with different textures and colours appearing throughout the rug.

Each one is handmade in Morocco using repurposed textiles, giving existing materials a completely new purpose.

We particularly love these smaller rugs beside a bed, in a dressing room or even as an unexpected little bathroom rug.

They're not exactly discreet. But then again, that's rather the point.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Shake out regularly to remove dust and loose particles.

Professional textile cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing, as the rugs contain mixed recycled fabrics with different compositions and textures.

If used in a bathroom, keep away from standing water and allow the rug to dry completely. These are decorative textile rugs, not conventional absorbent bathmats.
