A little wild, wonderfully colourful, and impossible to overlook.

MIMOSA is a one-of-a-kind Moroccan Boucherouite runner with a rather lovely mix of colours. Soft blush pink and cream form the background, while irregular diamonds in lilac, fuchsia, bright red, deep green, navy and earthy brown create a playful pattern.

And then there's the texture.

Some sections are made from tightly packed fabric strips, others have a looser, more shaggy finish. Look closely and you'll discover tiny pieces of printed fabric, unexpected colour combinations and all those little details that make Boucherouite rugs so interesting.

HANDPICKED IN MARRAKECH

We found MIMOSA at Simo's during our October 2026 sourcing trip.

Before bringing it home, we took it along to our riad in Marrakech, where we photographed it in the courtyard and against those beautiful terracotta-coloured walls.

It's a colourful rug, no doubt about that. But the softer pink and cream tones give it a lovely balance.

With its long, narrow shape, MIMOSA works beautifully in a hallway, beside a bed or in a living space that could use a rather unexpected splash of colour.

And honestly, we wouldn't mind seeing it hanging on a wall either.
