Meet FARAH.

Deep purple, shaggy Boucherouite texture and bold, almost diamond-shaped motifs in yellow, orange, pink, green, blue and cream. Turn the cushion around and you'll find something completely different: a flatter, tightly woven textile with colourful stripes.

Two very different sides. And somehow, they work beautifully together.

HANDPICKED IN MARRAKECH

During our October 2026 sourcing trip, we spent time with Mohamed, one of our textile suppliers in Marrakech. He has a wonderful eye for combining existing Moroccan textiles and regularly creates his own small cushion collections, mixing colours, patterns and textures that might not seem like an obvious match at first.

FARAH was one of those finds.
We loved the deep purple background, the almost playful bursts of colour and, most of all, the contrast between the thick, shaggy front and the striped reverse.
No need to change a thing. These were coming home with us.

TWO SIDES, TWO DIFFERENT TEXTURES

The front is made from colourful upcycled Boucherouite textile, with a thick, irregular pile and vibrant geometric motifs.

The purple background gives the brighter colours room to stand out, while the slightly uneven surface adds even more character.

The reverse is a completely different story.

A tightly woven striped textile, combining shades of red, pink, blue, purple, cream, yellow and green. Much flatter in texture, but just as colourful.

Depending on which side you choose to show, FARAH can bring a bold splash of colour or a more graphic, striped look to your sofa.

We particularly like mixing both sides together.

MADE FROM EXISTING MOROCCAN TEXTILES

FARAH belongs to a small series of cushions made from repurposed textiles.

Instead of using newly produced, uniform fabrics, these cushions bring together existing materials with their own colours, structures and little irregularities.

The shaggy sections aren't perfectly even. The stripes may vary slightly from one cushion to another. Some colours appear more prominently depending on where the fabric was cut.

That's exactly what we love about them.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Professional textile cleaning recommended.

Avoid machine washing, as the cushion combines different repurposed textiles with varying structures and fibre compositions.

Gently shake or brush the shaggy surface when needed. Avoid pulling on loose threads and keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.

HANDMADE CHARACTER

Each FARAH cushion is made from existing Moroccan textiles, so variations in pattern placement, colour combinations, weave and pile height are to be expected.

The cushions shown in the photographs represent the collection. Your individual piece may have slightly different details or pattern placement.

These differences are part of the original textiles and their handmade character.
