A softer take on one of our original SOUK in the CITY classics.

These white & gold Berber baskets bring a calmer, more refined feel to the traditional Moroccan basket.

Each piece is handwoven from date palm leaves and wrapped with wool in soft white, cream and golden tones. The patterns vary from simple stripes to more detailed geometric designs, giving every basket its own character while keeping the overall look beautifully understated.

Traditionally used in Morocco to store bread (khobz), today we love them as plant baskets, bathroom storage, nursery baskets, a place for keys and everyday bits & pieces, or simply as a decorative object in its own right.

Just like our colorful Berber baskets, no two are ever exactly alike. Shape, pattern and proportions can vary slightly from one piece to another — part of the beauty of something made entirely by hand.
