Beautiful poufs, handmade in Morocco: 2 variations!

Step 1: we bought an original pink boucherouite rug at the berber auction in Marrakech’s carpet souk. According to the available measurements, we chose it as the upper side of several poufs. We calculated that we could design 6 out of the one rug.

Step 2: we searched the Souk for several striped Kilim rugs with a pink accent, to match the rug. We decided on the size of the finished poufs, so needed 3 large kilims to use as the sides of the floor pillows.

Step 3: the local maâlem hand stitched each of these unique poufs. 

STYLING WITH MOROCCAN POUFS

The colorful floor pillows will look great in a bohemian setting but can really pop in a classic style interior as well. Oh and how cute would they look in a kid’s room? Dare to combine however you want & create your own unique space.

☆ Size: 60 x 60 x 35 cm

☆ Material: Boucherouite (rug made of recycled cotton clothing) & vintage kilims.

☆ The pouf doesnot include filling. We recommend re-using your existing pre-loved bed duvet, old clothing & other filling materials - the true Moroccan way of recycling ♻️

☆ The pouf is stiched by hand.

☆ We recommend the pouf cover only to wash dry.

☆ Because the boucherouite and kilims are vintage, they may have some minor irregularities and signs of use and age. We think that this gives it that beautiful vintage character.
